Description
How does Radiesse work?
Like other hyaluronic fillers, Radiesse is injected directly to the place where correction is needed. The unique component of this substance are gel microspheres filled with calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA). It not only fills dermal layers, but actively stimulates the generation of new collagen cells.
As a result, it provides a more sustainable and long-lasting result than hyaluronic acid based fillers. While HA-based medicines biodegrade in 6-12 months, Radiesse stays in dermal layers for 12-24 months depending on individual skin specifics.
When to apply Radiesse dermal filler?
Radiesse is frequently injected in different facial areas, to the neck and hands. It can help to eliminate and completely smooth out fine wrinkles, moisturize the skin and enhance its volume in problematic areas.
The filler is recommended to patients aged 35 to 60 years.
